For over thirty years, GTI Industries, Inc. has served the industrial packaging and janitorial supply needs of South Florida, Central America, the Caribbean and companies across the nation. This family owned and operated company was originally founded in 1972 by Rhoda and Aaron Zuckerman in a small North Miami warehouse. We have grown from a "Mom and Pop" operation to one of the largest and most respected distributors of our kind in the region. We think of ourselves not as a family business, but as a business with family in it.
In the early days, we were known as Gummed Tape, Inc. since our entire product line consisted of paper and reinforced gummed tapes. We were the premier printer of these tapes in the area and this has remained one of our specialties for over three decades. Our founders made all the sales, printed all the tape, and made all the deliveries in a station wagon.
Today we have a fleet of trucks, over forty employees, including a large staff of professional outside sales representatives, and a product line consisting of more than 2000 items. We have maintained a family approach toward our co-workers and customers throughout the years. The fact that some of our first employees as well as most of our original customers are still with us is evidence that this approach works. We believe the better we know our customers, the better we can serve them.
In addition, GTI is proud of our supplier relationships. For more than 30 years, we have worked hard and grown together with many of our local, national and international business partners. Furthermore, we continue to build on the association we share with our vendors based on mutual respect, commitment, and integrity as we strive together to exceed the expectations of our customers. |
