The GTI Story

For over thirty five years, GTI Industries, Inc. has served the industrial packaging,
food packaging, packaging equipment, janitorial, material handling and safety supply needs of South Florida, Central America, the Caribbean and companies across the nation. The family owned and operated company was founded in 1972. We have grown from a “Mom and Pop” operation to one of the largest and most respected distributors in Florida. In the early days, we were known as Gummed Tape, Inc. since our entire product line consisted of paper and reinforced gummed tapes. We are the premier printers of these tapes in the area and this has remained so for over three decades. Our founders made all the sales, printed all the tape, and made all the deliveries in a station wagon. Today we have a fleet of trucks, over 45 employees, including a large staff of professional outside sales representatives, and a product line consisting of over 2000 items. We have maintained a family approach toward our co-workers and customers throughout the years. As a result, we are the recognized market leader in customer satisfaction in our market areas. We believe the better we know our customers, the better we can serve them.

The Zuckerman Family
Our founder, Rhoda Zuckerman, who opened GTI Industries, Inc.
with her husband Aaron in 1972. Her son, Steve, President of GTI,
and his wife Candy, Accounts Payable/Payroll Manager.

• We are a full service industrial paper and packaging distributor servicing the United States as well as international markets while specializing in the greater South Florida area.

• We distribute packaging and janitorial items as well as fulfill customer requests for
non-stock, special order products.

• We sell, lease, install, service and repair packaging equipment.

• We print and convert tapes.

• We offer just in time delivery (JIT) and vendor managed inventory (VMI) for both special order and stock products. As a result, we deliver what is needed, when it's needed, in just the amount needed.

• We export worldwide while specializing in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
